Two forms of membership are offered by the association.
Active members include all people working for the State of Rhode Island
or a municipality. Active membership enjoys voting rights. Associate
members include all people working for private industry, such as
bankers, lawyers and Certified Public Accountants. Associate members
carry non voting rights: however they are encouraged to join committees
and assist in establishing policy procedures.
